For Job Seekers
Is OHub24 free to use?
Yes — browsing, searching, building a profile, and applying to opportunities is completely free for job seekers.
Do I need an account?
You can browse and search without one. To save a profile, get personalized recommendations, track your applications, or apply, you'll need to create a free account.
Does OHub24 apply for jobs automatically on my behalf?
No. OHub24 finds and organizes opportunities for you, and helps you prepare — pre-filling your info for review, and in some cases sending your application email directly — but you always review before anything is sent, and for most listings you complete the final application yourself on the employer's own site.
How does "Apply" actually work?
It depends on how the employer set up the listing. Email applications: you'll see a pre-filled message on OHub24 to review, then click Send — it goes straight to the employer's inbox, with replies coming back to your own email. External link applications: you'll be taken to the employer's own website or application system to complete it there.
Can AI write my personal statement or cover letter for me?
Not from scratch. If you add a base personal statement to your profile, our AI Draft Assistant can adapt it to a specific opportunity's requirements — you always review and edit the result before using it anywhere.
Can I upload a resume or personal statement?
Yes — go to your profile page to upload documents (PDF, DOC, or DOCX, up to 5MB each). These can be attached to email applications and referenced when preparing others.
Why do some listings say "Recurring" instead of showing a deadline?
Some opportunities (especially scholarships and grants) don't have one fixed deadline — they're evergreen or recur annually. We show "Recurring" rather than guessing a date, so always check the linked source for the current application window.
I found a broken or expired listing — what do I do?
Listings are cleaned up automatically over time, but if you spot one that's clearly dead, let us know and we'll remove it.
For Grant & Scholarship Seekers
Are these grants/scholarships verified?
We aggregate from real, named sources (official grant databases, company/organization postings, and hand-researched directories), but always confirm eligibility and deadlines directly with the funder before investing time in an application — details can change on their end after we've listed them.
Can I get help writing my proposal or personal statement?
Yes — save a base statement or proposal to your profile, and use the AI Draft Assistant to adapt it to a specific opportunity's focus and eligibility criteria. It's a starting point to edit, not a finished submission.
What does "requires a proposal/personal statement" mean on a listing?
It's a heads-up that this opportunity needs more than basic contact info — budget time to prepare a real document, and check your profile's document library before applying.
Some grants don't show funding amounts or full details — why?
We pull what's publicly available. Where information is incomplete, that's a gap in the original source, not something we're hiding — the "View full details" link on each listing takes you to the original source for anything missing.
For Employers & Grant-Giving Organizations
How much does it cost to post?
Pricing is shown on the posting page before you pay — it's a one-time fee per listing, and your listing stays live for a set number of days (also shown before you post).
How do I pay?
Through Flutterwave's own secure checkout page — we never see or store your card details.
How long does it take for my listing to go live after I pay?
Listings are currently reviewed and published within 24 hours of confirmed payment. We're working on making this instant.
How do applications reach me?
Whichever way you chose when posting. Email: applications are sent directly to the email address you provided, with each applicant's own email as the reply-to, so you can respond directly. External link: applicants are sent to your own website or application system (careers page, ATS, etc.) to apply there.
Is there a dashboard to see all my applicants in one place?
Not yet — applications arrive via whichever method you selected (your email inbox, or your own external system). A centralized applicant dashboard is on our roadmap.
Can I edit or take down my listing after it's published?
Contact us directly for now — self-service editing is on our roadmap.
What happens when my listing period ends?
It's automatically unpublished once your paid listing duration expires. You're welcome to post again.
Can I post a grant or scholarship instead of a job?
Yes — the posting form lets you choose the type: job, internship, grant, fellowship, scholarship, or award.
