<h2><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h2>
<h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Design, develop, maintain, and support application programming interfaces (APIs), backend services, and distributed systems using Ruby, Java, Go and Scala.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Build, test, deploy, and maintain software infrastructure to support large-scale production systems.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Design and develop software systems using analytical techniques and mathematical models to evaluate system performance, predict outcomes, and assess design tradeoffs.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Develop and execute software testing, validation, debugging, and documentation procedures to ensure system reliability and performance.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Diagnose and resolve production issues across multiple services and layers of the technology stack.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine technical feasibility, design approaches, and implementation timelines within cost and resource constraints.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to design and implement new features for large-scale systems.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Design and build systems to securely store, manage, and modify production data and services.</li>
<li>Improve engineering standards, development tools, and software development processes to enhance system quality and efficiency.</li>
</ul>
<h2><strong>Who you are</strong></h2>
<h3><strong>Minimum requirements</strong></h3>
<p>Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, plus 2 years of software development experience.</p>
<p>Must also have 2 years of experience in each of the following:</p>
<ul>
<li>Developing Software Applications.</li>
<li>Working with programming languages: Ruby, Java, Scala or Go.</li>
<li>Building backend or full-stack applications for large-scale systems.</li>
<li>Designing, building, and maintaining APIs, services, and distributed systems in a production environment.</li>
<li>Writing unit tests and performing manual testing for software changes.</li>
<li>Implementing Industry-standard software design patterns including distributed systems, event driven architecture, fault-tolerant systems, cost-effective engineering.</li>
</ul>
<p>Salary: $156,800.00 – $235,200.00/yr&nbsp;</p>
<p>This salary range represents the base salary range for the role and any sales commissions/sales bonuses targets, if applicable, would be in addition to the base salary.</p>
<p>40 hrs/week</p>
<p>50% Telecommuting Permitted.</p>
<p>Multiple Positions Available.&nbsp;</p>
